Barbara Christensen: Board Member

Barbara is a mother of five and enjoys spending time with her children & 7 grandchildren. She and her husband Jim have been self-employed for the past 33 years, operating a successful carpet cleaning business in the Salt Lake Valley. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her passion is creating beautiful jewelry, reading and playing games.  She is also involved with ‘Days for Girls’ and is looking to make a difference in the lives of many young women thru that program.

Barbara says that there is nothing better than to spend Sat night with her family playing games, eating and having fun. She has been involved with All One People since about 2005 and loves assisting others, especially the beautiful children that we support thru All One People. She is looking forward to the day she gets to go to Kenya and spend time there getting to know the children hearing about their hopes and dreams.

As Jim and Barbara get closer to retirement they are looking at options available to them to serve Heavenly Fathers children and making a difference in the world. They are also looking to travel some and visiting with family and friends around the world. Life is too short and precious to do nothing.
